Elipsos Sleeper Trains Barcelona-Paris or Madrid-Paris: You only need a railpass
valid in either Spain or France to qualify for a passholder fare, for which you only pay the
sleeper supplement. Barcelona-Milan: You only need
a railpass valid in Spain or Italy or France to qualify for a passholder fare, for which you
only pay the sleeper supplement. Barcelona-Zürich: You
only need a railpass valid in Spain or Switzerland or France to qualify for a passholder fare, for
which you only pay the sleeper supplement. Reservations:
Elipsos overnight trains can be booked up to 90 days in advance. Flexipasses
& Overnight Trains: If you are traveling on a direct overnight train that departs after
7pm, you must fill in the arrival date of the train into your flexi travel day boxes, thus using only one
travel day for this overnight train ride. But if your direct overnight train departs prior to 7pm, then you
will use two travel days, filling in both the date of departure and the date of arrival of the overnight train. (Note:
The only exception to this 7pm overnight train rule is for the Artesia overnight trains that run between Paris and
Rome, which depart at 6:40pm and 6:52pm; for these direct overnight trains only, you may write in your flexi travel day boxes on
your pass only the date of arrival of these Artesia overnight trains.)

or Spain, but no use of a rail day is required.
- Flexipasses & Overnight Boat Rides
- When
traveling on a flexipass, if you are taking advantage of a free bonus on an overnight boat ride, you may
choose to enter either the departure date or the arrival date of the ferry into your flexi day travel boxes on your
pass. And if the bonus is only for a discount in price, then you are not required to use a travel
day at all.
